OFNS follows the New York City Public School calendar, with some exceptions.
Our school is in session from 9am-3pm, five days a week.
Children attend school a minimum of 9am – 11:45, four days per week.

September 23-24, 2025 - Rosh Hashanah — no school
October 2, 2025 - Yom Kippur — no school

November 4, 2025 - Election Day —n o school
November 11, 2025 - Veterans’ Day — no school
November 13, 2025 - Teacher Prep Day — no school
November 20, 2025 - Parent Teacher Conferences — no school
November 26, 2025 - Thanksgiving Feast — half day
November 27-28, 2025 - Thanksgiving — no school
December 23, 2025 - Winter Recess begins — half day
December 24, 2025-January 2, 2026 - Winter Recess — no school
